Beethoven Philharmonie
Viennese sound, refinement and captivating interpretations!
Thomas Rösner, artistic director
“The Beethoven Philharmonie – an alert and fine-sounding orchestra plays the final movement of the „Pastorale — Happy and grateful feelings after the storm”. Under the direction of Thomas Rösner, this shepherd’s song does not simply float blissfully along: it becomes a loving celebration of creation, in which one hears the blood dancing in pure gratitude to the Creator. The images and the music enhance one another to the point of intoxication!”
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung,

About the orchestra
Who we are
The Beethoven Philharmonie is an Austrian orchestra, which has established itself internationally in the last few years. Based in Baden near Vienna, one of Beethoven’s favorite places in the very heart of Europe, it is in high demand for its interpretations of the Viennese Classics such as Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn or Franz Schubert.
Members of established Austrian orchestras play alongside international chamber musicians, creating together a unique spirit, which distinguishes the Beethoven Philharmonie from many other orchestras. A strong collective energy and the joy in music- making carries the audience along with the performers.
